Located in the Salmisaari Sports Centre in Helsinki, Prison Island will be renewed during the summer to offer an even better and more versatile experience for all fans of prison-themed adventure challenges.
Summer Opening Hours (15 June – 9 August)
Prison Island Salmisaari will operate with special summer opening hours.
From 15 June to 9 August, we are open daily from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Please also note that we will be closed during Midsummer:
- Closed from 19–21 June for Midsummer.
Prison Island Salmisaari Renovation (29 June – 16 July)
We are upgrading the Salmisaari facilities during the summer to make the experience even smoother, more modern, and more immersive.
Prison Island Salmisaari will be closed for renovation from 29 June to 16 July.
You can still play at Salmisaari as usual until 28 June before the renovation begins.
During the renovation period, we will continue serving customers normally at our Jumbo location.
Finnish Megazone Championships in Helsinki (30 July – 2 August)
The Finnish Megazone Championships will be held in Helsinki from 30 July to 2 August 2026, which also affects operations in Salmisaari.
Due to the event:
- Prison Island Salmisaari will be closed from 30 July to 2 August.
During the championships, Megazone and Prison Island locations will otherwise operate normally.
