Kysymyksiä

  • Q: IS PRISON ISLAND SIMILAR TO ESCAPE ROOM

A: No, it isn’t. The first Prison Island was born long before the escape room games. There is a large ‘prison area’ in Prison Island, which has different cells that require varied technical, tactical and physical skills (28 in Helsinki). The tasks are performed within a chosen time limit while collecting as many points as possible. Helsinki Prison Island has 28 different cells and as much as 20 teams can participate simultaneously.
  • Q: IS PRISON ISLAND SUITABLE FOR SMALL CHILDREN?

A: Prison Island is suitable almost for everyone. The age limit is 10 years and younger children than 10 must be accompanied by a parent.
  • Q: IS PRISON ISLAND SUITABLE FOR PERSONS WITH REDUCED MOBILITY?

A: Almost all tasks require some physical skills, so Prison Island is not recommended for persons with reduced mobility. Using a wheelchair in a labyrinth is difficult. If you suffer, for example, from a bad back or knees, then the other members of your team are able to mostly complete tasks that require crawling or climbing which enables your participation in the game.
  • Q: CAN I PARTICIPATE IF I CAN USE ONLY ONE HAND?

A: Yes. During some tasks, you’ll most likely need some help from your group, but you’ll still be able to have a blast!
  • Q: CAN I PARTICIPATE IF I HAVE A MIGRAINE/EPILEPSY?

A: There are no bright or flashing lights in Prison Island, so in our opinion there are no obstacles for your participation. If you will find some of the cells too challenging, you are always to free to leave the cell whenever you want/need to.
  • Q: IS PRISON ISLAND SUITABLE FOR ME IF I SUFFER FROM CLAUSTROPHOBIA?

A: We recommend for you to try it first and it is worth noting that some of the cells are small and can feel cramped in bigger groups, but you are always free to leave the cell whenever you want/need to. Some of the tasks can be quite challenging for people who suffer from claustrophobia.
  • Q: IS THE ADVENTURE SUITABLE FOR HEARING-IMPAIRED PERSONS?

A: It is possible to use sign language in order to solve tasks in approximately half of the cells. In the majority of the cells one hearing-impaired person can participate in task solving with the rest of the team
  • Q: CAN PEOPLE PARTICIPATE IN PAIRS?

A: Yes, people can participate in pairs, however achieving full points in each cell is not possible just in pairs.
